The cornerstone program of RMHC, the Ronald McDonald House®, provides a ‘home away from home’ for families of seriously ill children being treated at nearby hospitals. In 1981, the first Australian Ronald McDonald House opened in Sydney’s Camperdown.
There are now 19 Ronald McDonald Houses in Australia and more than 360 houses worldwide”.

Ice Box Liquor staff participate in cooking group dinners for families who are staying at Ronald McDonald House,
attending the annual Ronald McDonald House Charities Ball, and conducting raffles through our stores,
where 100% of money raised goes directly to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

We love supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities! Ice Box staff recently participated in Meals from the Heart at Ronald McDonald House Newcastle, cooking up a feast for families staying at the house.

In July this year we attended the Ronald McDonald House Charities Ball in Newcastle, staff had a fabulous time knowing their night out was directly supporting the fundraising efforts of Ronald McDonald House Charities.
